General Provisions & Acceptance
These terms and conditions govern the sale of products by Jabal Al Oud (registered commercial entity in the State of Qatar, operating boutique premises at Al Shafi Street, Al Rayyan) to consumers through our website.
By placing an order, registering an account, or browsing our site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental consent, and possess full capacity to enter into binding legal agreements under Qatari law.
Fragrance Authenticity & Botanical Sourcing
Jabal Al Oud guarantees that every product listed—including pure agarwood (oud) oils, signature Eau de Parfum flacons, room sprays, and handcrafted incense bakhoor—is 100% genuine and curated directly from reputable distilleries and artisan producers.
Because pure natural oud oils (such as Cambodian, Indian, and Vietnamese agarwood) are organic botanical substances, subtle natural variations in shade and initial olfactory tone may occur between harvest vintages, reflecting genuine botanical authenticity.
Pricing, Currency & Payment
All prices displayed on the store are denominated in Qatari Riyal (﷼ / QAR). While we strive to maintain accurate pricing across all listings, we reserve the right to correct manifest clerical errors before order confirmation.
We accept major debit and credit cards, local Qatari banking payment rails, and Cash on Delivery / Card on Delivery across Qatar where supported at checkout. Payment authorization is required before order dispatch.
Returns, Exchanges & Cosmetic Hygiene Policy
Due to health, personal care, and cosmetic hygiene regulations governing perfumery and fragrance oils:
- Eligible Returns: Items may be returned or exchanged within 14 calendar days from delivery, provided they remain unopened, unused, in their original factory-sealed cellophane, and with all protective presentation boxes and seals intact.
- Non-Returnable Items: Unsealed perfume bottles, decanted oils (tola, half tola, or quarter tola vials), and ignited bakhoor cannot be accepted for return or refund once opened.
- Return Process: To initiate a return, contact our concierge at info@jabalaloud.com or via WhatsApp at +974 6630 5055 with your order receipt. Approved returns will be refunded via the original payment method upon boutique inspection.
Damaged or Defective Shipments
In the unlikely event that a parcel arrives with broken glass, leaking flacons, or a defective spray mechanism, clients must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the damage and outer courier label.
Upon verification, an immediate complimentary replacement will be expedited at no extra cost to the client.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Jabal Al Oud trademark, logotype, geometric emblem, flacon graphics, photographs, product descriptions, and bespoke site design are the exclusive intellectual property of Jabal Al Oud. Any unauthorized reproduction or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited under Qatari and international copyright law.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar. Any controversy, dispute, or claim arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Doha, Qatar.
